An estimated 30 to 40 million Americans are at risk of eviction in the coming months. Even more are struggling -- to take care of their families, keep their lights and utilities on, and just make it through.  Only Congress and the federal government can provide a safety net big enough for America, but our government is broken.  What we need is a temporary stop-gap to #KeepPeopleInTheirHomes until we have a functioning government.  That solution exists, and we need your help.  

America’s 5,000 credit unions -- our democratically- owned, movement banks -- have the money to solve this crisis with $56 billion in excess member-owned capital. If credit unions used just 20% of their excess reserves, credit unions could create $100 billion in emergency loans.
