As Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Lake Norman Community Health Clinic, she spent two decades connecting thousands of uninsured North Carolinians with quality, affordable care. Today, as CEO of the NC Association of Free and Charitable Clinics, she advocates for underserved communities across the entire state. April brings the kind of compassionate, hands-on leadership that Raleigh desperately needs.
Electing April would be a critical step towards flipping the Republican supermajority in this state, and would open up the door to bipartisan negotiation and real progress for our state.
