Academic Union Network: Labor Rights in Higher Education
Graduate students and postdocs are also workers who teach, conduct research, and help keep universities running. Yet many academic workers — especially international workers — face barriers to accessing clear information about their labor rights and how union organizing can protect them.
Academic Union Network is a cross-campus project built by academic workers and union organizers. We create free resources that help academic workers understand labor rights, workplace organizing, immigrant rights, and how collective action can improve conditions in higher education. All materials are provided for informational and educational purposes only.

Academic Union Network (AUN) is a volunteer-led network that partners with Justice Is Global for fiscal administration. Justice Is Global receives and processes donations, including payment of platform-related expenses on AUN's behalf. AUN makes decisions about how funds are used. Individual AUN volunteers do not personally receive, hold, or manage donated funds.
