For more than a decade I have been fortunate to call Carlsbad my home. In this community, I founded a business, raised a child, taught community college classes, and volunteered for a variety of non-profit causes. I am happy and proud to be a Carlsbadian.

In 2020 I was elected to represent District 4 on the Carlsbad City Council. It is my honor to serve you.

 

While I am excited about what we have accomplished in my first term, there is still work to do to improve our community, especially in my three priority areas: Sustainability, Affordability, and Safety. This is why I am running for re-election in 2024. Over the coming months, I look forward to discussing your perspectives and ideas about community improvements, because we all want Carlsbad to be the best it can be, and we are all in this together.

 

Contribution rules

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  2. I am at least eighteen years old.
  3. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
Political contributions are not tax deductible for Federal or State purposes. In compliance with the City of Carlsbad campaign regulations, individual contributions are restricted to a maximum of $1,000 per election. Couples with joint authorization on the account can donate up to $2,000 per election. Foreign nationals are not permitted to contribute to political campaigns. Contributors are prohibited from being reimbursed without disclosing the true source of the funds. All contributions equal to or exceeding $100 are publicly disclosed. We cannot accept more than $250 in total contributions from a party, participant, or agent of a party or participant involved in any proceeding about a license, permit, or other entitlement for use that is pending before the City of Carlsbad. This limit also applies for 12 months after the final decision is made. By contributing, I confirm that I understand and agree to these restrictions.
