For those held within the walls of the Adelanto ICE Processing Center, the basics of human dignity are often out of reach. Since May 2025, when the facility began ramping up operations, our hotline has received over 719 calls from individuals inside.
Your donation goes directly toward commissary funds, providing a lifeline for people arriving from South and Central America, Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe, and across the globe.
Why Your Support is CriticalThe conditions inside Adelanto have reached a breaking point. We are responding to urgent reports of:
- Food Insecurity: Many reports indicate that provided meals are insufficient or nutritionally lacking, making supplemental food from the commissary a necessity for health, not a luxury.
- Medical & Postpartum Care: We have heard from mothers forced to navigate the grueling postpartum period behind bars, as well as individuals experiencing systemic medical neglect.
- Isolation: Phone and video calls are the only way for these individuals to speak with their children, consult with legal counsel, or hear a friendly voice. These calls come at a high cost that many cannot afford.
- Basic Hygiene: Funds allow people to purchase their own soap, toothpaste, and feminine hygiene products when facility-issued supplies fall short.
