Adina for Flatbush

Fight Anti-Semitism. Empower Women. Promote Progress.

Goal thermometer

  • Together, we will unapologetically stand up for the Jewish community by defending yeshivas and fighting anti-Semitism and standing up for Israel. Our campaign will donate half the City Council salary to non-profit organizations that service our communities. This is a time where people who are committed to public service must step up and move our community forward.
  • Our campaign is funded entirely by donations from the community, not wealthy law firms who write big checks expecting favors in return. I am not relying on other elected officials to help me win this race; I am out knocking on doors every day, listening to what people have to say, and I am encouraged by their reactions. I hear what people are saying and it’s time to prioritize the issues effecting this community. I am a hard worker who deeply understands this community and I am the best person for this job.
  • This campaign is about representing the issues of every person who makes up our wonderfully diverse community in Flatbush, East Flatbush, Flatlands, Midwood, and Canarsie. I was born and raised in this community and it is where I have chosen to raise my family.
  • One of the most important issues facing our community is very simple: too many of us, who have spent our whole lives here, can no longer afford to live here. Too many of my friends have left Brooklyn because it has become too expensive to raise a family here. We can’t afford to raise our families in the same community we grew up in, and this must be addressed by members of the City Council. We must implement a truly affordable housing program that will allow working families to stay in their communities. This will be my number one priority when elected.
  • We will hold the mayor and the governor accountable by applying pressure to create truly affordable housing, fix the MTA and adequately fund our schools and after care programs. We will finally put an end to hate crimes. We will work to get guns off our streets and end gun violence in our community. Parents shouldn't have to mourn for their children who are killed in senseless violence.
  • As a Brooklyn College alumna, I understand the importance of a college degree. We must make CUNY colleges tuition-free once again for all New York City high school graduates. We will fight for equal access to public education.
  • I am the only Jewish candidate in this race and I have a vision to unite this district and a plan to eradicate displacement and improve educational opportunities for everyone.
  • I am a third generation Brooklyn activist and I have access to a media platform of more than 45K viewers. I will continue to use my platform to apply pressure on our elected officials to focus on the issues effecting our communities, front and center.
