Celebrate the Asian Democrats of Los Angeles County's Inaugural Awards Gala! (Updated Date)

The Asian Democrats of Los Angeles County are thrilled to host our Inaugural Awards Gala, now under the San Gabriel night sky on our rescheduled date! Join us as we celebrate past, present, and future Asian Democratic history in fundraising for our organization while honoring some very special guests. (All purchased tickets will include complimentary ADLAC membership.)


This year's awardees include:

Congressmember Judy Chu (Judy Chu Legacy Award)

Hon. Mike Eng (Mike Eng Excellence in Public Service Award)

Attorney General Rob Bonta (State Elected Official of the Year)

Long Beach City Councilmember Suely Saro (Local Elected Official of the Year)

Los Angeles County Democratic Party Recording Secretary Olivia Lee (Democratic Activist of the Year)

Arlene Inouye and United Teachers Los Angeles (Community Partner of the Year)


When: Friday, September 15th, 7:00 - 9:00 PM (Rescheduled Date!)

Where: San Gabriel Grapevine Arbor (324 South Mission Drive, San Gabriel, CA 91776)

Who: Open to all ticketed guests (all ages event; ID required for alcoholic purchases)

Payment Options: Purchase your ticket via ActBlue or make checks payable to 'Asian Democrats of LA County.' (A limited number of community tickets will be available at a discounted rate. Please email board@asiandemsla.org if interested.)

Parking: Free lot parking is available beside the venue. Overflow free parking is available close by in an additional lot further north on Mission Drive. Visit bit.ly/grapevineparking for a detailed parking map.

Accessibility: The venue is a ground floor, accessible, open-air space. An accessibility ramp is available. Title, Champion, and Elder level sponsors will have reserved or preferred seating. All other tables are open seating. (Please contact us with any specific ADA requests and we will happily accommodate.)

Attire: Business, cocktail, or business casual attire is encouraged. The event is outdoors, so please dress accordingly.

Food: We are proud to showcase the diversity of our local Asian communities in our food vendors, with a chosen emphasis on Asian-owned small businesses located in the San Gabriel Valley. Vegetarian options will be available.

Drinks: All event tickets provide access to an open, hosted bar. Our custom cocktail menu includes alcoholic drinks that can also be made as non-alcoholic 'mocktails.' An assortment of soft drinks and water will also be available.
