Asian Democrats of Los Angeles County Fourth Annual Awards Gala: Fighting for a New Era

In this critical midterm election year, Asian Democrats of LA County’s fourth annual awards gala will honor leaders building power for AAPI communities from City Hall to Congress. Titled Fighting for a New Era, our gala brings together AAPIs from across Los Angeles County who are building the political force needed to win systemic change and transform our government into one that works for all of us.


This year’s honorees include:

  • Masuma and Riya Khan, recipients of the Judy Chu Legacy Award, presented by State Senator Sasha Renée Pérez
  • Patima Komolamit of the Center for the Pacific Asian Family, recipient of the Mike Eng Public Service Award, presented by Los Angeles City Attorney candidate Marissa Roy
  • SGV Progressive Action, recognized for building progressive power throughout the San Gabriel Valley 


LA Mayoral candidate Nithya Raman will also be providing a keynote address.
