Hi friends! I'm running to represent my neighbors in the place I was born and raised. Bay Terrace, Bellerose, Beechhurst, College Point, Douglaston, Floral Park, Glen Oaks, Hollis, Little Neck, Malba, Queens Village, Steinway and Whitestone deserve so much more out of their elected officials. My neighbors deserve someone in Albany who will fight for working families; it is more important in this moment than ever before. While the incumbent has remained silent in the face of Trump's ICE raids and increased bigotry in our communities, I have and will continue to stand up and fight back. Every person deserves to have a representative that will always have their back and to feel safe in their own backyard.

Together, we can build lasting change here in Queens. We need your help to get there though. Every donation helps get us in front of more voters, to tell them our story and vision for a better New York, that works for us.

For those that may not know me, I am an attorney, organizer, former public servant and union member. Up until I decided to resign to run for this office, I spent my career prosecuting landlords that let their buildings fall apart at the expense of their tenants and drafting legislation that helps keep New Yorkers safe. I have organized with groups like Sunrise Movement NYC, Working Families Party, and Riders Alliance to fight for climate action, affordable housing, and reliable public transit. In doing so I successfully led lobbying efforts to help pass bold bills like the Build Public Renewables and Home Energy Affordable Transition Acts. I have also helped build lasting coalitions that continue to push to make New York more affordable for all.

I am not taking money from real estate developers. corporate PACs, police unions, or the fossil fuel industry. The only people I will be accountable to are you, my neighbors.

I plan to participate in New York's Public Campaign Finance Program, which means the state matches your donation and makes it go much further.

I don't believe in impossibilities --- anything is possible when we come together and work for it. Together, we will win a more affordable, safer, and equitable New York.
