Americans for Fair Debt Relief advocates for fairness for student loan borrowers, many of whom are in dire financial straits. We support the discharge of student loans through bankruptcy and we support the full forgiveness of loans for financially distressed senior citizens.
The reason we don't have these equitable policies already is that student loan lenders donate a lot of money to Members of Congress. We have to fight back against these deep-pocketed corporations.
Your donation will go toward promoting these policies by defeating Republican politicians who oppose them. We will call these politicians out with ads across multiple platforms (social media, radio, cable tv).
