California’s climate disclosure law is under threat. The insurance industry is lobbying the California Air Resources Board for a last-minute exemption. This carveout would allow some of the biggest players in fossil fuel finance to hide their emissions and avoid public accountability.


AFR is fighting back. We are organizing public comments, coordinating with partners, and applying pressure directly. But we are up against a powerful industry with deep political connections.
