Americans for Financial Reform

Fund the Fight to protect the CFPB and data privacy now!

Elon Musk’s hypocrisy and false virtue is on full display. He claims to care about data brokers exploiting military servicemembers but wants to destroy the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) — the very agency leading the charge to stop those abuses.

The CFPB’s new proposal would rein in unscrupulous data brokers, protecting sensitive information like Social Security numbers, income, and financial data from being sold to whatever spammy marketing firm, financial fraudster, or cryptocurrency startup bids the highest. Without the CFPB, these protections vanish, leaving consumers exposed.

Americans for Financial Reform is fighting to protect the CFPB from Musk and his Big Tech allies. Your donation will:

  • Support advocacy to ensure the CFPB’s rule becomes a reality.
  • Counter misinformation from tech billionaires seeking to undermine the CFPB.
  • Mobilize grassroots pressure to keep Congress from caving to industry influence.

Contribute to Americans for Financial Reform and help fund the fight to defend the CFPB and ensure data protections stay in place now.
