Americans for Financial Reform

Fund the fight to defend the CFPB now!

(WATCH: AFR Associate Director of Consumer Policy Tom Feltner joins Senator Warren, Rep. Pressley and others at Monday's rally in support of the CFPB.)

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is under attack from Wall Street and its political allies. Efforts are underway to freeze enforcement, cut funding, and shut down the agency that protects families from junk fees, predatory lending, discrimination, and financial fraud.

Americans for Financial Reform is organizing to defend the CFPB through legal action, congressional pressure, and nationwide mobilization. Our work has helped block these attacks so far, but the fight requires sustained resources.

We’re fortunate to work with powerful allies like Senator Elizabeth Warren. Here’s what she said about our partnership in this fight:

“Americans for Financial Reform’s leadership is key in our efforts to stop the Trump administration's attempts to destroy the CFPB. AFR is out there every day, bringing together the efforts of dozens of civil rights, organizing, and economic justice organizations, magnifying their power to make sure everyone’s voice is included.”

That leadership is part of why the CFPB is still standing today. Your contribution keeps our team on the front lines defending consumer protections and holding Wall Street accountable.

Contribute to Americans for Financial Reform, and fund the fight to defend the CFPB and protect consumers nationwide.
