Wall Street is furious that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) has finally put an end to their overdraft fee scam. The new safeguards cap overdraft fees at just $5, saving families $5 billion a year and preventing banks from preying on those who can least afford it.


But big banks are flooding Congress with lobbyists and campaign cash to try and kill this reform.


Now, Republican leadership on the House Financial Services Committee is forcing a vote to – no kidding – raise overdraft fees! The banks have billions to spend on lobbying. But we have people power and with your help, we can win.
