Americans for Financial Reform

Fund the fight to honor MLK Jr.’s legacy and build an economy that works for everyone

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. made clear that civil rights and economic justice are inseparable. He warned that a system built to concentrate wealth and power while millions struggle is morally broken and must be transformed.

Americans for Financial Reform is carrying that work forward. We are fighting to eliminate inequity and systemic racism in the financial system and replace it with rules that serve an equitable and sustainable economy. From defending the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to challenging predatory lending, junk fees, and Wall Street’s grip on housing and healthcare, AFR confronts the structures that extract wealth from working families and communities of color.

This work is urgent. Powerful financial interests are spending millions to block reforms and roll back protections that keep people safe. Without sustained resources, they will succeed.

Your contribution fuels the research, advocacy, coalition-building, and public mobilization needed to confront Wall Street power and deliver real economic justice. Dr. King called on us to restructure systems that produce inequality. That is exactly what this fight is about.

Contribute to Americans for Financial Reform and fund the fight to honor MLK Jr.’s legacy by building an economy that works for everyone.
