Americans for Financial Reform

Stand with Elizabeth Warren. Fund the Fights Taking on Wall Street, Defending the CFPB and USPS, and Building an Economy That Works For All of Us Now!

Senator Elizabeth Warren on what we do working together:

“AFR is leading the effort to defend the CFPB -- and supporting the CFPB’s efforts to fight discrimination in financial services, curb junk fees, and make banking more competitive.

But there’s much more to AFR. It’s an organization working to prevent another devastating crash like the one in 2008 or the banking crisis we had last year. AFR champions reform of private equity, whose executives often destroy jobs for profit and use their money to distort our democracy. AFR has built support for my Stop Wall Street Looting Act to tackle that industry’s abuses. This organization has also spearheaded the fight to curb stock buybacks that make the rich richer and widen the racial wealth gap. And it’s fighting to save and protect the USPS through new services like postal banking.

AFR isn’t afraid to stand up and fight for the people against powerful special interests, and we need it to be as strong as possible in the face of what is arguably the most powerful industry in the world: finance.

Americans for Financial Reform doesn’t just fight against bad policy in Washington. They fight for what we believe in and the future we need to see. They’ve worked their hearts out to advance big ideas for a safer and fairer financial system.“
