Americans for Financial Reform

Fund the fight to save the CFPB from Elon Musk’s attack now

Elon Musk just called for the complete elimination of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). This agency has recovered over $19 billion for American consumers, money stolen by big banks, payday lenders, and predatory financial firms.

His call to “delete” the CFPB is an attack on every American family who relies on fair banking practices, transparent lending, and accountability in the financial system.

The CFPB’s work is too important to let it be destroyed. American for Financial Reform is mobilizing to protect this critical institution, but we need your help. The fight to defend the CFPB will take grassroots action, media campaigns, and relentless advocacy in Washington and we can’t do it without you.

We need your help to counter the misinformation campaign being waged by Musk and Wall Street lobbyists, amplify the stories of Americans who’ve been helped by the CFPB, and pressure Congress to protect the CFPB’s independence and funding.

Every dollar you contribute strengthens our ability to defend the CFPB and the rights of consumers across America.

Contribute to Americans For Financial Reform and fund the fight to save the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau from Elon Musk’s attack now.
