Navy Federal Credit Union charged illegal overdraft fees to customers including servicemembers and veterans for years. In 2024, they agreed to refund $80 million. But now, under Trump’s CFPB, the settlement has been tossed aside, and Navy Federal is walking away from the people they promised to repay.
This is a disgrace. Customers were exploited by the very credit union that claims to serve them. Americans for Financial Reform is fighting back, mobilizing pressure on Navy Federal, calling out the corruption inside Trump’s CFPB, and demanding justice for the people who were ripped off.
Your donation helps fuel this fight. It powers the organizing, the campaigns, and the accountability work needed to make sure Navy Federal pays what it owes.
