Americans for Financial Reform

Fund the fight to stop Trump’s CFPB from protecting racist Wall Street lenders now.

Trump’s Consumer Financial Protection Bureau just tried to refund a Wall Street mortgage lender that settled a racial discrimination case, even after a federal appeals court unanimously agreed the case had merit.

This is what happens when Trump’s allies take over critical agencies. They turn watchdogs into Wall Street lapdogs. The CFPB, created to protect consumers from discrimination and abuse , is now being weaponized to protect corporations that break the law.

Americans for Financial Reform is exposing this betrayal. We’re leading the response — organizing public pressure, sounding the alarm in Congress, and making national headlines. Our team was quoted in the New York Times calling out this move for what it is: a green light for racism in lending. And we’re not stopping there.

We’ve been here before and every time they try to gut consumer protections or greenlight discrimination, we show up, speak out, and fight back. But we need your support to keep going because we’re up against powerful forces that want this story buried and this agency dismantled.
