BloNo DSA

The Afro-Socialist and Socialist of Color Caucus

Your contribution will benefit Afro-Socialists and Socialists of Color Caucus of Bloomington-Normal DSA to help build a local grassroots movement that is led and developed by black and brown people living right here in your community.

Afro-Socialist and Socialist of Color Caucus is focusing on base building for the next 6-12 months, and we plan on doing this through community outreach events in working class neighborhoods. Our first event on July 3, 2021 in the Sunnyside neighborhood in West Bloomington drew over 500 people, 10 community partners, over 100 prizes, free food and a Covid vaccine clinic. Our second event was a back to school drive in which we raised enough money to donate 15 TI-84 calculators to students who live in the Bloomington Housing Authority.

We have events happening throughout the fall including a Free Swim Clinic, a Winter Coat Drives and so much more. Please help us to continue this work by making a donation today!
