The NYC-DSA AfroSocialists and Socialists of Color Caucus is a home for Black socialists and socialists of color across New York to advance organizing, political education, and leadership development for our people within the NYC Democratic Socialists of America.

NYC-DSA Afrosoc is entirely member-funded, and we rely on contributions from members like you to fuel our growing caucus of Black NYC-DSA members and NYC-DSA members of color fighting for a socialist future that makes our city a better place for our families and neighbors.


Member dues fund–


  • political education including articles, books, and films;
  • meeting and events including space rental, food, and supplies;
  • community outreach including literature and materials for new members.
