Dear Friend of the Aftab Committee,

It is my pleasure to share with you the Aftab Committee’s new online donation page, making it easy for you to support our non profit with the contribution level that works for you. With this new feature we hope to build our support network, allowing us to continue providing opportunities for Iranian-American artists and to bring you the exciting and diverse range of artwork that showcase Iranian-Americans extraordinary cultural contribution in this nation. Click here to see our past events.

Since the nonprofits establishment, we have carried out our mission to build bridges between Iranian-American artists and the American public through artistic and cultural dialogue and collaboration. Our ongoing programming brings the best of Iranian-American exhibits, scholarly lectures, film screenings, music concerts, stand up comedy, book presentations and so much more.

As part of its education initiative, the Aftab Committee also provides opportunities for university students who seek knowledge through research and creative works in Iranian Diaspora studies. In 2019, the Aftab Committee will continue to expand its outreach to local universities and schools to increase educational opportunities for students and artists.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Aftab Committee relies heavily on the generosity of committed donors in order to offer these vibrant artistsic, cultural and educational programs at no cost to the public. I would like to invite you to support our work with a donation of any amount, which will be directly allocated to the artist fees, event production and institutional collaborations for our 2019 programs. Contributions are tax-deductible, and donors will receive an IRS-compliant receipt as a record of the donation.

Thank you very much for your consideration. We are honored to have you as part of our community, and we hope you enjoy our upcoming events and programs!
