Since 1930 Agricultural Missions, Inc. (AMI) has stood alongside rural people in addressing the structural causes of poverty and inequity affecting their lives. Rural communities around the world face severe challenges due to the changing global climate that leave them extremely vulnerable to food and economic insecurity. Communities are left to deal with the loss of livelihoods and property, displacement and relocation or resettlement in the aftermath of climate change – without assistance from local governments or organizations.
Your gift supports capacity building training for our partners in small farming techniques and policy advocacy. We also engage partners in global networks for peer exchange of knowledge, accompaniment, and movement building. Help us continue the fight for rural communities adapting and mitigating the effect of climate change.
