The Senate has officially confirmed Jeff Sessions- a known racist and white supremacist- to be the new Attorney General of the United States. To be clear, the Republican party forced through a man once deemed too racist by a Republican led, Strom Thurmond helmed Senate Judiciary Committee in the 1980s. We are truly living in an unprecedented era where the reigning president and his appointees have no mandate to rule and no constituents to be accountable to.
We are now in the fight of our lives. And we need you now more than ever.
