Alex Hawkins is an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Officer in the Michigan Army National Guard, an Oakland County reserve sheriff’s deputy, and a neighbor who cares deeply about our community and putting service over self.
In 2024 we came closer than anyone thought possible to flipping this seat. In 2026 we are building on that momentum to win and deliver real change for the 55th.
This race is about whether working families in Michigan have a strong voice in Lansing. Alex is committed to defending our public schools, protecting reproductive freedom, standing up for good paying union jobs, and making our communities safer and stronger.
