AHRI Giving Tuesday!
We have accomplished so much over the last year thanks to your support:
- Served domestic violence survivors by developing an "exit plan" during COVID-19
- Provided immigration legal services (VAWA, Green Card renewals, applying for unemployment) offered in Spanish, Korean, and English and DACA workshops
- Partnered with an LGBTQ+ organization to provide COVID-19 relief funds for over 600 people of color
- Presented a digital photo essay uplifting various dynamic stories of women of color, focusing on intersectionality between race, gender, sexuality, immigration status, and more
- Launched 6-month organizing virtual fellowship
- Developed leaders that have created an informational resource guide about redistricting, a space that highlighted arts and healing, and immigration education workshops
- Contacted 15,000 voters in California, including 7,278 Korean voters among them about voting and election
- Partnered with CSUF's Asian American Studies Department to provide service learning curriculum
