Support The States Project’s Work in North Carolina

North Carolina is a solidly purple state whose legislature is Republican-controlled due to a decade of gerrymandering. The States Project is the leading national group funding strategic campaign work to win state legislative victories and break Republican control of legislatures. The States Project provides a high return on Democratic investment, lifting the top of the ticket by turning out voters who care about local issues.

All In for North Carolina (AINC) is raising early funds to provide the NC House Democratic Caucus with the resources and technical support to win back multiple seats. The States Project will continue to raise funds to build on this early investment. Your contribution will go 100% to directly support candidates running in the closest districts in the entire state.

Tuesday, May 28, 7:30 pm ET, on Zoom

Keynote Speaker: Heather Cox Richardson

author, Letters from An American

Additional Speakers:

Rep. Robert Reives (Democratic Leader, North Carolina House of Representatives) and Daniel Squadron (Co-Founder & Executive Director, The States Project)

State legislatures play a critical role in American policy and politics. In North Carolina, they have 100% control of legislative and Congressional district map-making. They determine tax, health care, education and environmental policy. The Republican supermajority in NC has passed many extreme and unpopular laws, including an abortion ban, anti-voting measures, anti-LGBTQ+ measures, and elimination of background checks on gun sales.

Winning state legislative seats is a powerful investment in winning NC’s 16 Electoral College votes for President Biden, and electing Democrat Josh Stein as the next Governor of North Carolina. AINC and our co-sponsoring organizations (list below) are committed to breaking the one-seat Republican supermajority in the NC House this year.
