Voter Motor has funded a number of authentic, fiercely independent grassroots groups in Florida, Virginia, North Carolina and Georgia. After our successes in Virginia and Georgia, people are understanding the power of grassroots organizing in a new way.
Georgia not only elected Biden president, but elected 5 progressive DAs and 4 Black sheriffs who campaigned on ending cooperation agreements with ICE.
We didn't win everywhere, but we learned important lessons that will help us win everywhere. Winning in Virginia and Georgia took 10 years of work. People are learning that candidates do not build infrastructure. That neighbor-to-neighbor organizing is more powerful than consultants and TV.
