Did you know that men are 40% more likely than women to be encouraged to run for office? In 2017 Alaska Women Ascend set out to change that statistic. Over the last 6 years, because of your generous donations, we have reached 500 women with our annual 8-month training in how to run for office, manage campaigns, and support the candidates and causes they care about. AWA’s message is clear -- women belong in the political arena!!


But we can't do it without your support. AWA is an all-volunteer-run organization. Our impact is clear - together, we are getting women elected.
