Alexandra is running for City Council to ensure Boston continues to be a beacon of opportunity for all. As a mother, daughter, and someone deeply invested in Boston, she believes our city should be a place where every family and individual can afford to live, flourish, and prosper.
Her extensive career and dedication to public service began 10 years ago, formerly working for Jamaica Plain City Councilor Matt O’Malley. Since then, under the Walsh Administration, she served as Jamaica Plain’s Neighborhood Coordinator, citywide Latino Liaison, Director of Engagement, and Executive Director of the Women’s Advancement Department. Currently, Alex has the privilege of serving as the Executive Director of Cultural Affairs, continuing her commitment to making Boston a more vibrant, inclusive, and equitable city. This decade of experience, fighting for working families, small businesses, and underrepresented communities, has prepared her to bring bold, honest leadership to the Boston City Council.
Alexandra is committed to Affordable Housing for Every Generation, Quality Education for Every Boston Student, and Stronger Communities & Quality of Life for All. With your support, we can build a Boston that truly works for everyone.
