Hi, my name is Allen Downer and I am running for Wayne County Commissioner to represent the 12th District.

I am a third-generation, lifelong resident of Wayne County. I am the son of a single mom, a union worker, and the grandson of a U.S. veteran.

There is a passion that residents like myself have for our county. Being born, raised, and desiring to stay here gives us a will to fight, protect, and care for our county.

This campaign is run to protect and take care of our county. If I am elected, we plan to establish a facility for residents suffering from mental illness instead of putting them in prison, fix our roads throughout our county, and bring financial responsibility and transparency to the residents of Wayne County. Just to name a few.
