On Day 1 of his return to the White House, Donald Trump has already revealed that he will use every means at his disposal to overturn the multiracial democracy that Black Americans and their allies forged during the Civil Rights Movement.
The man who said that there were "good people on both sides" of a white supremacist rally in 2017 and told the Proud Boys to "stand back and standby" in 2020, banned DEI programs in the federal government today; and all signs point to him trying to weaken the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the 14th Amendment next.
Trump's attacks on these sacred laws will put the lives of millions of Americans at risk by making it impossible to combat identity-based discrimination in American workplaces and service provision.
The bottom like is that it's our job to stop him!
We're fundraising to do just that by advocating for the passage of laws that will protect us in municipalities and states where the Democrats hold power. We will use data science and digital ad campaigns to mobilize Black voters to put pressure on the Democratic Party to stand up to Trump in defense of all marginalized communities by passing these laws.
