I'm Allison Eriksen, and I'm a progressive Democrat running for Montgomery County Council District 3 — because we need leaders who are ready for anything.

Until March 2025, I worked at USAID as an international disaster responder and I want to make sure that Montgomery County is prepared for an unknown future.

When the agency I worked for was gutted, this community showed up for me. This is my way of returning the favor and supporting my community by representing the needs of working residents and working to ensure that everyone in my community is cared for. Our community deserves better than what we're getting. We need affordable housing, quality services, and communities that are protected from discrimination. We can have more, and we need people in office who understand that the purpose of government is to serve the residents, not donors.
