Allison Longenbaugh for City Council

Please join me in my campaign for Naperville City Council!

The election is April 4, 2023!

I started going to City Council meetings in 2016 when the city was discussing the 5th Avenue Train Station development to make sure decision-makers listened to my neighborhood's concerns. I've been to every meeting since 2019 because I liked seeing local government at work. I ran for City Council in 2021 because I didn't want to be a spectator anymore. I serve as Trustee and Secretary on the Naperville Public Library Board, and was the official Council Observer for the League of Women Voters Observer Corp. I launched The Rundown on Facebook and Twitter where I kept residents informed of matters before City Council. I am a proud graduate of both the Citizens Police and Fire Academies. I am honored to be endorsed by the Naperville Professional Firefighters (IAFF 4302).

I am not a career politician. I will responsibly manage residents' tax dollars to continue to deliver excellent city services, advocate for responsible, sustainable development considering the needs of all residents, and bring people together by focusing on shared experiences and needs.
