Even though NYS allows individuals to contribute up to $86,000 to candidates in this race, Alvin's campaign requires you follow these additional self-imposed contribution rules:
1) We will not accept contributions from any lawyer who represents a client in any case or matter presently pending with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, or represented a client in a case or matter resolved with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office within the past 4 years.
2) We will not accept contributions from any person who was prosecuted by or know they were investigated by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office within the past 4 years.
3) We will not accept contributions from contract lobbyists registered in NYC.
4) We will not accept any contributions from corporations (even though NYS allows corporations to contribute up to $5,000).
