They reached for the "off" switch because they can’t handle the truth.

On Wednesday, I stood at my desk in the Iowa House and did the job I was elected to do: I looked the Republican supermajority in the eye and called out their cowardice. I spoke out against their sick proposal to protect "conversion therapy" which is state-sanctioned child abuse and their Enhanced Civil Rights Removal Act designed to strip Iowans of our civil rights.

In response, the GOP censored me. They cut my microphone off because they are terrified of a voice they cannot control. They are fighting a culture war because they have no plan for the real issues: no plan for clean water, no plan for our public schools, and no plan for property tax relief.

Iowa House Republicans thinks they can bully me out of my seat and silence me. They know I won with only 400 votes and they think their dark money can overpower our movement. They are wrong.

Please split a contribution today between my campaign and the Iowa House Victory Fund. Every dollar is a direct strike against their agenda of hate. We aren’t just holding the line in District 80; we are building the power to break the Republican supermajority.
