Amanda Cochrane is the Director of Umbrella and a candidate for the Vermont House representing the Caledonia-Essex district. A longtime nonprofit leader, she began her career in direct service supporting survivors of violence and has since led mission-driven organizations focused on community care, safety, and resilience.

She lives in St. Johnsbury with her family and remains actively engaged in community service and local partnerships across the Northeast Kingdom. Her work has been grounded in listening, collaboration, and a commitment to building systems that better serve people.
