My name is Amanda Standers and I am running for Madison Township Trustee in Putnam County. I have been a Special Education teacher for 29 years. I am currently a Co-President of the teacher's union at South Putnam Schools.
I have worked in Putnam County since 2000 and moved to Greencastle in 2011. I have taught many students over the years and would like to give back to the community.
My goals for the trustee office are to improve the transparency of the office and to help us find more volunteers for the Madison Township Volunteer Fire Department.
