Hi Colorado — My name is Amanda Gonzalez, and I'm running to be your next Secretary of State. As the Clerk and Recorder for Jefferson County, I have experience running safe and secure elections for Coloradans. When I served as the Executive Director of Common Cause, I made our democracy more accessible by expanding automatic voter registration, multi-language ballots, and requiring more ballot drop boxes throughout the state.

I'm running for Secretary of State because Democracy is my love language, and I've spent my entire adult life working to make sure voting is easy and secure.

We can't take our democracy for granted. Colorado needs an experienced Secretary of State who can hit the ground running on day one. Our elections are under threat, and as your Secretary of State, you can bet on me to fight back against any attacks to our democracy.
