My name is Amber Frederick and I am running for Minneapolis City Council in Ward 5 this November 4th, 2025.
As a 25-year-old, progressive, housing-focused candidate, I am driven by the people in my community. I am committed to working toward building a Minneapolis that is safe and secure for all. Disability Justice, housing equity, and climate-policy are at the forefront of my mission. As a housing coordinator, I have seen how difficult it is for too many residents to secure safe housing. I know Minneapolis can do better and I’m ready to fight for solutions.
