The Alliance for American Leadership (A4AL.org) is mobilizing young voters to restore federal funding for humanitarian aid.
After the shutdown of USAID, we launched a national organizing effort. Thus far, we've recruited organizers on more than 100 college campuses, registered thousands of young voters, and helped pass new legislation restoring funding for famine relief, public health, HIV/AIDS, and anti-poverty programs.
But the work is just beginning.
If America is going to end extreme poverty, it will require a new generation of leaders. A $50 donation recruits one new campus fellow - a student who will register voters, meet with members of Congress, and build support for humanitarian aid across their campus.
With the midterm elections approaching, will you help us recruit the next generation of leaders?
