Donate to Ana Vasudeo for Alameda County Board of Education

I’m thrilled to be running for Alameda County Board of Education Trustee Area 1 with the support of Area 1 Incumbent Joaquin Rivera, the California Teachers Association, SEIU 1021, the East Bay Stonewall Democratic Club, and many others.

Our public education system is facing extraordinary challenges, mostly due to the destructive actions of this federal administration and its attacks on our most vulnerable students. I am proud to be in my sixth year on the Berkeley School Board, and I have seen the critical needs that local school districts face. Furthermore, I have a proven track record of getting things done for our students in light of unprecedented challenges. I coordinated with labor partners and public health advocates during COVID-19 pandemic to expand rapid antigen testing throughout the state so that students and education workers could safely return to school. Most recently, I have worked tirelessly to prepare our District for the possibility of ICE action and keep our schools a safe space for learning for all.

I am running for Alameda County Board of Education because I know how to successfully get things done to protect our most vulnerable students and our education workers.

I am also running a corporate free campaign, which means I am taking no contributions from businesses or special interests. Can you make a contribution to my campaign?
