Andrea Gordillo is a daughter of Peruvian immigrants and has been a community and cultural leader in Lower Manhattan for over a decade. She is running for New York City Council District 2, to represent the neighborhoods of the East Village, Lower East Side, Greenwich Village, Union Square, Flatiron, Rose Hill, Murray Hill, Kips Bay, and Gramercy Park.

Contribution rules
- If a contributor has business dealings with the City as defined in the Campaign Finance Act, such contributor may contribute only up to $250 for city council, $320 for borough president, and $400 for mayor, comptroller, or public advocate.
