Get Andrew back to Augusta

I am running for my fourth and final term in the Maine House to represent you over the next two years and collaborate with a new Governor to expand Medicaid, fix Maine’s roads and bridges, and improve Maine’s economy and quality of life by investing in workforce development and lowering the cost of health care.

Thank you for helping me to win three elections to the Maine Legislature. I am proud of the work that we’ve accomplished over the past six years.

As your Representative, I have:

  • Passed legislation with bipartisan support that authorized the Maine Turnpike Authority to begin construction of the Gorham Connector, which will alleviate traffic congestion in Gorham and decrease travel time to downtown Portland;
  • Led efforts to pass $300 million in bonds to fix Maine’s roads and bridges;
  • Built bipartisan support for addressing the $160 million funding shortage in Maine’s Highway Fund budget, paving the way for progress with a new Legislature and Governor to finally solve this problem; and,
  • Sponsored legislation to provide financial literacy education for public school students, increase the property tax credit for homeowners, increase funding for our local schools, and help combat the opioid crisis.

Successful policymaking is a collaborative process, but too often over the past six years the process has broken down in Augusta because of a bombastic Governor who has put party over country and failed to provide real leadership. That ends this year.

This November we will turn the page and write a new chapter in Maine’s history. I want to be at the table in 2019 and 2020 to be your voice in writing that next chapter, advocating for you, your family, your business, our community, and our state.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve our community and the state of Maine. I would be honored to have your support in my campaign.
