Over his career, Andrew has been a progressive champion working to improve the lives of the residents of Tallahassee. A graduate of an HBCU, Andrew firmly understands the value of a quality education and extending opportunities for success to everyone.
As Mayor of Tallahassee he’s stood up to the NRA and is committed to passing common sense gun reform measures as Governor. This is in direct contrast to current Governor Rick Scott, whom the NRA bragged “has signed more pro-gun legislation than any Governor in Florida’s history.”
This isn’t a partisan issue, nor just a Florida issue. African American families throughout the nation are dealing with our nation's obsession of guns on a daily basis. But we know the fastest way for us to stop the madness is to through the political process where policymakers and elected officials will need to lead. That's why we’re standing with Andrew.
