Maryland Congressional District 1 is in play! Let’s walk Andy Harris out the door!

Together We Will Harford County Indivisible, DEAR America, and other Indivisible groups in Congressional District 1 are putting up billboards to highlight Andy Harris’s destructive voting record and how he has harmed our district. Two are already up in Cambridge Maryland, one will be on Route 50 in Wye Mills - Queen Anne’s County and we are now working on bringing billboards to Harford County. See the artwork below!

Andy Harris’ votes have harmed hardworking people in Maryland's First Congressional District for the last 15 years. With midterms fast approaching, it’s time for voters to know that Andy Harris simply does not care about:

●       Fast-rising costs at the grocery store, gas station, and more, making it far too expensive to feed our families, heat our homes, and fertilize our fields.

●       Healthcare that’s more expensive than ever and harder to find with rural hospitals and clinics closing or struggling to survive

●       Veterans whose benefits have been slashed by out-of-touch politics that protect billionaires over those who’ve served our country  

We need your help to put Andy Harris’ record on billboards across the district, so every driver and voter can see exactly what Harris has done––or failed to do––when it mattered most. Let the record show that:

●       Harris voted for $800 billion in Medicaid cuts that will hurt district residents, including the 1 out of every 5 who depends on Medicaid for their healthcare

●       Harris voted against the largest expansion of VA healthcare in decades, leaving veterans exposed to burn pits without the care they were promised

●       Harris voted to side with the ultra-wealthy, giving an average $61,090 benefit to the top 1% of households while the bottom 60% of hardworking people received less than $500

●       Harris has been a consistent supporter of Trump's nonsense tariffs that have already raised costs on everyday goods for our families.

●       Harris voted against protecting the vital Chesapeake Bay when he failed to support the Inflation Reduction Act, which included the largest federal conservation investment in U.S. history

BUT THAT IS NOT OUR ONLY FOCUS. Everyone understands that Harford County is critical to any victory in District 1. There is no Victory in District 1 without turning voters in Harford County. We have the largest population and the largest population concentration. We must get their votes if we are going to win. We need to be everywhere all at once, so our efforts will also include Digital Marketing and Direct Mail, as the budget allows.
