Here's a list of people that are fighting for me and people like me. I'm still trying to figure out how I can be one of these people, so until I get that straightened out and start asking you for money on my own behalf - send what you've got to these folks. They deserve it, and here's why I know that:
I met Tatiana Matta and Brenda Siegel last November in Minneapolis at a Vote, Run Lead training session. I heard their stories and their concerns about running and I saw their clipboards and to-do lists, and I was equal parts terrified and jealous of where they were in their process. Both much farther along today, your money will help take the next step.
I met Liuba Gretchen Shirley at an Emerge New York training session just as she was launching her campaign against Peter King. I listened to her talk about her struggles with authenticity, and I've followed her fights to get the FEC to recognize child care as a campaign expense. She is already making a huge impact, and she's not even elected yet.
I went to college with Kate Gallego and Eric Lesser, and I promise there are no Kavanaugh moments in their pasts. They're great humans.
Jessica Ramos and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are in the fight to represent me, directly, at the state level and I couldn't be happier to have two Latina rockstars advocating on my behalf.
Catalina Cruz is an alumni of a public service leadership program that I'm currently in: Coro Leadership New York. Can I just say that most men don't give two shits about whether they're taken a training program that will help them better make change in the system where they want to be elected? Give her the financial validation she's well-earned.
Beto O'Rourke - I know it's easy to forget, but I'm from Texas, y'all.
