Anika's Fundraising Page for Organizing to Win: Building Racial Justice with White, Poor, and Working Class Communities
I am sure you have been just as overwhelmed, enraged and saddened as I am by the recent Trumpism that is storming our country (and the world). We are all looking for ways to help build political capacity against racist, sexist, islamophobic, anti-immigrant, fascist and antisemitic policies. I am fundraising for this campaign because I believe that it has direct impact to do so.
Since 2015, I've volunteered with Catalyst Project in the Bay Area. Catalyst helps working class communities nation-wide strengthen their racial justice practices as they work on issues like access to healthcare, resisting mountaintop removal, and building economic justice in rural communities.
Catalyst is fundraising to hold an important workshop series! From April 20-23, 40 leaders organizing with poor and working class white communities across the U.S. will gather at the historic Highlander Center (in Tennessee) to share skills, strategy, and analysis about building racial justice. Your donation will help make it happen.
