93 Americans are killed by gun violence every day in our country. This June 2nd we are asking everyone to Wear Orange to honor those taken by gun violence. The Wear Orange movement was started by friends and family of Hadiya Pendleton, a 15 year old girl who was shot and killed less than two weeks after marching in President Obama's second Inaugural Parade. Hadiya's friends and family chose the color orange because it's the color hunters use to protect themselves from being shot. It has become a symbol of life. We wear orange to protect and honor the lives of our friends and family. We wear orange to honor Hadiya and so many others taken by gun violence. Please consider donating and supporting the Wear Orange movement. Together we CAN end gun violence.
