I'm proud to have grown up in Davis, California. This is where my Mexican immigrant parents found their own American Dream. Thanks to the opportunities I got in my hometown, I've gone on to be a staffer in Congress, work on presidential campaigns, and serve in the State Department.
But I've also seen first hand the poverty, hunger, and prejudice that too many in our community experience. I've never forgotten where I come from - and I want future generations to have the same opportunities my family did.
That's why I'm running for Yolo County Supervisor. I believe we can make Yolo County the best place in America to live out the American Dream. I hope you’ll join me in this campaign. Let’s build a Yolo County in which nobody is left behind!
